Hi, I'm Shariff - welcome to StackRelay. This site is my personal tech journal. It's where I document what I build, what breaks, and what I learn while putting things back together.

Most of what you'll find here comes from hands-on experience: running Linux servers, building homelabs, self-hosting services, automating workflows, and pushing small hardware way beyond what it was "meant" to do.

Raspberry Pi, networking, backups, monitoring, local AI, DevOps-style thinking - that's my comfort zone. This blog isn't about trends or hype. It's about things that actually work - sometimes after failing a few times first.

I write so I don't forget what I learned, and so others don't have to rediscover the same lessons the hard way. You'll see deep dives, notes from experiments, setup guides, and occasional reflections from the trenches of building and maintaining systems.

Some posts are polished, some are raw - all of them are honest. If you like learning by doing, debugging at odd hours, and squeezing serious performance out of modest hardware, you'll probably feel at home here.
